AFTER eight years of relentless searching, a young woman helped by WIN has been reunited with her family in Northern India.

One evening in 2007, Leah and Usha spotted a girl sheltering in a shop doorway. Anisha was then about 25-years-old, homeless and mentally ill.

Anisha is from a small village near the border of Nepal, 600 miles away from Nagpur. After developing post-natal depression, Anisha’s husband, in an effort to get rid of his wife, put her on a train without a ticket, expecting never to see her again. Eventually removed by the ticket collector at Nagpur station, she wandered into the city.
