IN THE wake of the brutal rape and subsequent death of a 23-year-old woman in Delhi in November 2012, Indian society is finally starting to speak out against atrocities committed towards women.
It has been the educated youth of the country, men and women standing together, who have led the way and one can only hope that they will continue to shout out against the countless acts of violence suffered by Indian women.
Archana, also 23, agreed to tell her story to inform and alert readers as to what often happens to those, who for various reasons find themselves abandoned.
