On May 20th WIN observed International AIDS candlelight memorial day. This was a shared program along with other charities that support people living with HIV and AIDS.
In order to highlight the cause, a rally was organised across the city, following which participants prayed together for those who are suffering poor health as a consequence of HIV, as well as for the friends and family of loved ones who lost their lives to AIDS.
Finally, WIN’s social workers Raj, Pooja and Rama lit candles along with other participants in remembrance of those known to the charity who died from AIDS.
