Holi also known as the "festival of colours" signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships.

WIN celebrates Holi every year with women found abandoned on the streets and taken into the charity’s care. For them it is a momentary opportunity to shed fear and anguish caused by years of abuse and neglect. For these women Holi symbolises new beginnings – a chance to move forward with hope and dignity.
