Anish Chandak visits WIN

Anish Chandak visits Women In Need

In 2014 Anish Chandak founded Jazba Entertainment; a non-profit organisation that supports Women in Need through funds collected from their annual Bollywood-Fusion dance competitions which are hosted at the University of Minnesota.

The University of Minnesota recognised Anish for his philanthropic efforts by giving him the Presidential Award for Outstanding Scholar Activism; he was also included in their “Driven to Discover” campaign.

Having graduated and no longer at the University, Anish’s personal involvement in supporting WIN continues. In July he took time out of his hectic schedule to visit the charity’s activities in Nagpur and Wardha.

We are extremely grateful to Anish for his vision of Jazba, and for his incredible energy and commitment to WIN and everything that he’s involved in.

Since 2014 Jazab Entertainment has gone from strength to strength with a new executive board of members who continue to drive the competition to even greater heights of professionalism and talent. This year Women in Need received $15,000 from the proceeds of this incredible competition.
