Healthcare is the right of every individual, yet 60% of India’s population do not have access to basic healthcare.
WIN recognises the needs of women and children living in deprived communities on the peripheries of mainstream society. Most are unable to afford the time or the cost of public transport to see a doctor. With the addition of poor housing, sanitation and a lack of available clean drinking water, women and children are at a much greater risk of disease that those living closer to medical facilities.

WIN’s mobile primary health care service is therefore a lifeline to hundreds of those living in such areas. We provide free consultations, medicines, follow up tests and treatment where needed.
We would like to thank our supporters for keeping this essential service operating.
